May 2005

Thanks once again for the support and enthusiasm at the Betsey Trotwood gig! Apologies to anyone who was not able to claim their free CD but hopefully there will be more available at the next gig. Performing without projections (due to venue regulations) was a useful experience, putting the music firmly in the spotlight and showcasing some of Ben's kaleidoscopic off-the-cuff guitar work. The next event on Saturday 18th June will feature a new film compiled for SonVer by Simon Bryant.

Further gigs have been added including Gothaeternal in June, the Ritzy cinema bar in August and The Muse in October.

Work is underway on the collaboration with Coffee Films to produce the first SonVer dvd. CF are creating a short film as a visual response to 'Until The Stones Melt', available later this year.

The SonVer set included a premier of looped cello quintent El Cervel, which was well recieved and will probably be included on future set lists. As ever, Stefan's slide projections were amazing - thank you.

Please keep an eye on the site over the coming weeks as it will be overhauled and updated, with new features and audio made available.
